Meet me on 7th Street

You know how I always say Philly is such an easy drive from my house? This was the one time it WAS NOT; it took 3 hours for a usual 1 1/2 hour drive. The reason being "volume." Honestly, seeing this sign still makes me think homicidal thoughts.

Light at the end of the tunnel!

We were STARVING; I broke into the crackers which they made me throw away at the door, sob. We did a quick search for food, but only found the homeless and the ghetto. Melissa didn't want to get shot so we went back to the venue to wait until the line went in. We, also had to pee and the line was ridiculous. Luckily, being over 21 helped us yet again by being able to use the bathroom by the bar.

We were promised that even though this show was sold out, it would be much better than the previous nights. We kept ourselves occupied after eating chicken fingers.

The Electric Factory is a classy place.

We waited by the merch for about an hour because they told us to be there around 7:15, but they actually didn't realize that the show wasn't starting until 7:15. We saw Alex Greico come out so we assumed he knew what was happening so we creepily watched him. Then, Matt came out and a crowd of about 30 went to get passes. Of course, they ran out and we went to go out the door and we were like, "uh oh, we don't have passes." We went over to Greico and asked him so he walkie talkied Matt and Matt let us go with them. I asked Matt about the camel, but he said he didn't think it was there anymore except he was WRONG! They just rearranged.

We waited for the guys and they all piled in choosing a corner. Alex Gaskarth was the last one in and we were standing near the door, so he hesitantly walked over to us. I'm not sure if he thought we were just with our younger sisters or that we weren't screaming in his face, but it was awkward. I didn't know who he was because he looks different from the pictures I had seen previously. The fangirls were just silently spazzing to the right of me and Melissa was just standing there, so Alex came over and said hey to us. We said hey and then the 3 of us continued to stare at each other awkwardly for a solid 2 minutes. Then, I looked at Melissa and said, "do you wanna get a pic or something?" So, we did pictures and then another minute of awkward silence. Then, I asked about Bamboozle. They don't know which day but probably the first day, Alex Gaskarth told me.

We went over and sat on the couch waiting for Jack, but then Melissa noticed there was less people by Zack, so we went over there. I almost poked some girl with the foosball stick, sorry. I'm completely convinced that Zack remembered us from the night before, but we got pictures anyway.

Onto Jack who is by far the nicest and funniest. We got pictures and some how I'm not ever sure how, Hanson was brought up. I told him to never play the Croc Rock in Allentown again and we talked about overselling venues.

Let's be honest the real reason we were so stoked to be backstage was all the fun picture taking opportunities. So, we quickly ran over to Rian and got pictures.

Our camel photoshoot:

Just grabbing a drink with a few buddies.

NO CURFEW in Philly!

Sometimes we pretend we have musical abilities.

We had exhausted all the fun props in the room, so we were like why not talk to Alex Gaskarth again? Except I had found a water fountain and I was so very thirsty, but there were NO cups. It was a cruel joke life was playing on me and then Alex Gaskarth had to leave, so we didn't get to talk to him again.

We made our way back into the venue with the screaming girls and secured a spot in on the balconey which was not bad at all.

They moshed and crowd surfed anyway.

Apparently, Melissa and I missed the memo about getting naked and dancing in a circle, next time.

Last shows always entail pranks and this is what happens to the stage after a bunch of boys destroy it. Oh and those 2 random girls, who are they? and why were they so awkward?

No buswaiting tonight since we had a meet and greet, lol. We were on a mission to find WaWa.

Mission Completed!

'Til we meet again, All Time Low.

Too much of you is never enough

If you like teenyboppers and bright colored clothing, go see All Time Low. We blended in with the moms more than the actual concert patrons. We were ok with being the only ones with wristbands including the bands (except for that one guy in Mayday Parade.)

Also, NJ's premiere overselling venue. We found out later that they sold 2500 tickets for a 1200 capacity room. All Time Low were fun, but I felt oddly disconnected from a band I had never seen live before. The one song I knew ALL the words was the only one no one around me knew. Really, people, it's on the cd.

By far, I think this may have been the worst buswaiting experience of my life. We had Meatloaf the security guard telling us to go to our cars until one of the guys from the Maine gave some girl a hug. Then, we went over to the other side by the doors and we were just hanging out. No one was near the barricade but as soon as some guy from Every Avenue came out, they rushed it. Stupid us didn't think to get over there sooner, so we had to inch our way up when Zack came out. Some girl actually GAVE HER NUMBER to Zack to give to Alex because he didn't come out and her MOM kept calling her because she wanted to leave. Zack was out for at least 45 minutes and I'm pretty sure he said 9 words the whole time and 6 were to us.

We peaced after that because we assumed no one else was coming out and we wanted Dunkin Donuts except it closed at 11, laaaame. We passed out asap promising to be out of the house by 10 AM to go to the mall and then head down to Philly for our meet and greet (lulz).

We did wake up at 9, but we didn't get up until after 10. We ended up leaving around 11:30. Our first order of business was food, so we immediately ran to the food court and got Taco Bell. Melissa ordered the wrong thing, but she was daring and tried something different.

After that, we were on a hunt for a scarf and gloves. We found a nice, teal pair at NY and Company, our only apparel purchase in 3 hours. It was onto Sephora after that to try the free samples. No joke, we used mascara called "The Big Fatty" and "Luscious Lust." The Apple store is the obvious next stop where I set off the alarm on the ipod in the first 3 minutes. We found the macbooks next and proceeded to photobooth.

quick stop in Paris

stay forever who you are

I have 3 things that I want to blog, but I think I'll start with the most recent.

How I spent my weekend rather than with Hanson:

waiting for a love like this

I've never in all my years wanted a boyfriend more than at this minute. Someone to hold hands in the park with me, someone to talk with before bed, someone who understands, someone to make pancakes with on Sunday mornings, someone who loves all my stupid, little quirks, someone I trust, someone who understands my lack of knowledge pertaining to prepositional objects, and most importantly someone who loves me as much as I love them

Of course, Hanson, with a little help from The Juliana Theory and Jesse Ruben and iTunes are apparenly truly making the soundtrack of my life.
